Southland Tales

Don't recall this movie being out in the theaters. Which is surprising given the main cast and the cameos. I caught it the other night on Amazon and found it bizarrely entertaining. Some parts of it were actually quite brilliant. There was a rather blatant political undertone that depending on your slant could turn you off but overall it really surprised me.

Curious if others have seen it and what their take is on it.

I enjoyed it. It's the same writer and director as Donnie Darko, Richard Kelly.
