This team is getting a lot better. And I base that more on Villanova than Colgate. I really hope we can find our way into the NCAA tournament because by the end of the year, this team will be capable of getting to the 2nd weekend. Right now, no we wouldn't, but if the young guys keep improving, Mike G keeps playing well and Cooney keeps shooting well we would be dangerous.
Losing that Villy game really hurt our chances. A road win over a top 10 team would have been large in the committee's eyes. We are going to have to own the bottom of the ACC and steal 1 or 2 from Duke, Lville, Virginia, ND and UNC.
I know this, if we find our way in as a 10-12 seed, nobody will want to see us in their bracket seeded on the 10-12 line. Not many seeds on those lines run the talent out on the floor that we do.
