--yong pitchers. e.g. Bryan Mitchell and James Kapreilian and even Shreve. I'm guessing that Mitchell will be in Warren's role as a spot starter long relief. I think Kaprielian will be invited to spring camp and his performance will dictate his next stop in the farm if not the big roster going north. Cashman has said that Miller isn't going anywhere so the dream back end bull pen will be given a chance to be effective for the team.

Chapman will receive no more chances if he destroys his opportunity with the Yankees by some moronic act in any area of his life. I am looking forward to see him in action wearing the Yankee uniform At this time it appears that Gardner will start in left field Jacoby in center and maybe Hicks in right Beltranwill get spot starts until he gets hurt or his defense demands a change . No way he will get a QO after this season unless he performs at a high level which is doubt ful for the now 39 year old that he is. Fans are screaming for Judge to be called up and play right field. Unless Aaron Judge tanks he might get a call up at least for the proverbial cup of coffee.

What is your obsession with rushing prospects? You do this every year thinking such and such player, even though they have an extreme low innings amount in the minors could make the major league team. Kapreilian has 11 friggin innings in the minors, let the kid develop a little.

Cashman also said Bubba Crosby would be his everyday CF, and he was good with Ackley/Refsnyder at 2B etc.

Judge needs some serious work on hitting the outside pitches which were to blame for his ineffectiveness at AAA last season. Small sample at only 60 games, but he has to prove he can hit that pitch

You haven't spent a lot of time on the SU football board have you. If he had his way, we'd have a never ending rotation of true freshmen playing. By the time they are sophomores, they are too old.

provided mitchel has the stones to pitch again, that will be his role. shreve will be the 5th-6th inning guy and also the one who spells DB and miller when girardi inevitably overuses them. hicks will not start per say, but will end up with, IMO, 120 starts combined between all 3 outfield spots as all 3 'regulars' will need days off to keep fresh (gardner) or off the DL (ellshittybury & beltran).

judge for sure and likely kaprelian, should be looking forward to the coal cavern museums at scranton.

same with refsnyder and bird. refsnyder will be traded by july if not sooner. bird should be given plane vouchers or have a driver on call if theyre in the northeast.

i suppose gardner could still go for a SP, but id imagine thats a no go now since nobody is pitching past the 6th...EVER.
