- We are an 0-5 team on the road but we are a 4-2 team at home. The Dome - and the fans make a difference.
- It’s not running backs that have been killing us- it’s quarterbacks. And they lost theirs, (Anthony Brown). Defenses seek to make their option on-dimensional. Boston College already is. Our defense has had its pride wounded these last two games and it will be a pleasure to play a team where they can just focus on the one threat.
- Dino isn’t going to go the whole game with Culpepper. Zach Mahoney was pretty sharp that first half against Wake Forest. We even moved the ball in the second half but our drives ended in mistakes, not scores. The Louisville game was played in a downpour. If Zach can find what he had in that first half vs. Wake- or in the Pitt game last year or the LSU and Clemson games two years ago, we’ll build up a lead against the Eagles that their grind-it-out attack can’t overcome.
- It’s been all uphill for our seniors, who have held this program together through a run of difficult seasons. They are going out with a win. Book it.
