Syracuse Takes Down Boston College in Double Overtime (LaxMag)

Syracuse first appeared on its way to a comfortable win and then found itself in a fight for survival.

But all ended well for the sixth-seeded Orange by the end of its marathon matchup with third-seeded Boston College in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship on Thursday night. Syracuse is moving on to the semifinals after Kayla Treanor’s unassisted goal 1:25 into sudden victory lifted the Orange to a 14-13 win at Klockner Stadium.

I'd say they ran no offense for 10 out of the last 11 minutes or so that they had the ball. Talk about taking the fun out of the game

With only 3 schools in the Northeast, it is what it is.

Unfortunately he is a real homer. Was a local sports guy in Greesnboro for years. Believe it or not there are a lot of northeners in broadcasting in NC... even folks from Syracuse.
