6/16/63 Dick Tiger, who had defeated Gene Fullmer for the World’s Middleweight title the previous year and then retained his title due to a draw in the rematch. He won the third match by a 7th round knock-out. He’s dressed in Nigerian garb and uses his real name, “Richard Ihetu”. His neck muscles give him away.


He is the first guest. This is Arlene's return after her auto accident.

Tiger subsequently became the light heavyweight champion- until the met Bob Foster, who began his long reign with one of the great one-punch knock-outs of all time:


Tiger was later banned form Nigeria for his support of the Biafran movement and he took a job as a security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Dick died of liver cancer on December 14, 1971; he was 42 years old
