11/25/58 Gene Conley, who played for championship teams with both the Milwaukee Braves and Boston Celtics, was a guest on TTT. He comes on at the 17 minute mark.
Gene was on the 1957 World Series Champion Braves, who lost the 1958 Series to the Yankees after taking a 3-1 lead. He re-joined the Celtics after that season, (he'd played with them in 1952-53 before becoming a baseball pitcher) and they won their second championship, the first of eight in a row. So he jsut missed being a member of a championship team in more than one sport simultaneously.
One guy says “MVP” means “National Basketball Association”.
Another baseball pitcher who played in the NBA, Dave DeBusschere, appeared on TTT on 4/29/63 but that isn’t on You-Tube.
