Class of 2017 WR Brad Hawkins (NJ) Decommit from Michigan/Attending Prep

Maybe he did it alphabetically and decided to move one school out of order to mess with the heads of fans from 10 schools

Surely somehow this date relates to 44, or something to do with Syracuse.

So he forgot Syracuse and added it in at the last minute?
You're always the voice of (true) reason...Not what I had in mind but yes, plausible...

Or maybe it was a subconscious slip, but it was a slip that suggests we are higher on his mind than some others. Please stop trolling.

Man, he couldnt even put CUSE in there. Temple instead. That hurts. As much as Acosta is doing in NJ its still disapointing that he feels more connecting with Temple than SU.

And this is why I keep going back to wondering if Acosta is stretched too thin covering Florida too. Not as much attention being paid to NJ, or are we just not as high on prospects there?

Yep. Rutgers is a weird school to include. #Rimshot

The instability with our coaching staff has to be a huge factor.

Just too many turning their backs on us.

I don't think Acosta is spread to thin...I think it is that the staff isn't as high on the NJ kids this cycle.

What instability? Not one person from the Hill has said that SS is in danger. Not one. Other schools don't have to negatively recruit against us in football. Our record the last 15 years has that covered.

Our record has created a perception among recruits of instability.

No one on the Hill has to mention a thing.

It's just there.

It doesn't help that Shafer is constantly mentioned by the national media as being on the hot seat, despite the fact his job has never been speculated about at SU.

Exactly.

SU doesn't have to say a thing, but the perception is there because of what has been written nationally.

Maybe we need Moyer to help recruit for the football team. Ha.

When do administrations ever speculate about the job status of coaches? Except the dreaded vote of confidence.
Not often you hear "oh ya, coach x needs to start winning or we are moving on."

This is exactly why he needs 6 wins this year, or we really need to evaluate things.
