Conway has already been at two JUCOs after not going to his original choice for unknown reasons. It appears that he then got kicked out of Butte College, his first JUCO, after being involved in a fight where he was named the "primary aggressor" in fight after he and some teammates crashed a house party at another school.

He lived with his HS coach for awhile after the coach took him in and let him stay until they "both agreed that it was best for Conway to leave."

Conway sounds like more trouble than he is worth at this point. Sympathy for his difficult upbringing (Detroit projects) but he has been given multiple chances and seems to not take advantage of them. And Michigan moved on despite Conway making it clear that his goal was to still go there. A lot of red flags here that a new staff should avoid.
