It basically runs till March Madness, which runs into baseball, the Masters, the Stanley Cup and nba playoffs.

No real football.

No baseball.

Sure the nba, nhl and college hoop are running...but this is just the jockeying for position period.

It seems Syracuse is jockeying for what timeslot on Tuesday they can try and get that ever elusive ACC-T win

its all hockey right now.. NCAA and NHL..

and horse racing fills any Void.. tracks run almost 24x7..
 
It had one thing going for it. It wasn’t the Wednesday (and now Thursday) after the MLB All Star game.

But yeah, no matter how much I try to spin it with NHL, college hoops, it’s my slow season for sports.

Thankfully, it’s an Olympics year, albeit a terrible time zone for live events.

Forgot about the olympics, maybe because yeah, we will know results before the couch time.

There’s also not a pro hockey tournament...loved that.

I’ll get into the minor leaguers and college guys, but still...

As a sport to watch, college hockey is great. But yeah, I have to learn who the players are as I watch the game, and by the next day, I’ve forgotten.
 
Cornell #1 in the country now by PWR which is their seeding system.. fun times.
 
Back in the day, I could watch college hoops almost every night at this time of year and be perfectly happy. Conference play heating up? I loved it. I could watch pretty much any teams and enjoy it.

Now I just watch Cuse. I agree. This is a slow time. I love the NBA, but this is the time of year where that gets boring for a couple months too.
 
March Madness/NBA Playoffs is the best sports time of the year.

Best individual day is either Thurs/Fri of March Madness or the College Football Playoff.
 
Just wait until the early Summer when baseball, the NBA draft, the World Cup and Wimbledon all intersect. I like watching all four so will be a great time of year. In the near future, the Winter Olympics will be ok as long as you don’t spoil the results ahead of time.
 
I wish we had a better team, I rely on my cuse hoops to fill this period.
 
I'm pretty stoked about the upcoming months.

Olympics are always entertaining to supplement college hoops.

MLS kicks off in about 1.5 months and runs straight through to December (my favorite sport/league).

The NBA isn't just GSW and Cle this year.

I'm a big Rangers band-wagon fan after College Hoops closes out and the NHL playoffs are always exciting.

Then we've got the World Cup this summer and a loaded Yankees roster to fill up lazy summer nights.

We're just getting started!
 
I still watch a ton of college hoops. There are actually a lot of very watchable and entertaining teams out there, if those who complain about how unwatchable college hoops is would actually turn on a game besides Syracuse.
