Right. There are also a lot of guys we never heard of that height that weren't any good.
No kidding. There are a lot of 6' and up ones that were no good too. Your comment really has nothing to do with what I responded too. It was implied that 5'9 may be too short. It obviously isn't as evidenced by the plethora of backs in the NFL currently, and in the Hall of fame that are below 5'10"
Since 1950, running backs have been getting shorter and heavier. It's ideal for a running back to have the low center of gravity. Running backs getting shorter and heavier

I prefer backs who are like 5-9 200. They’re tanks. And have that low center of gravity.
This kid already has good size at 205 lbs. I can see him getting to 215-220 without sacrificing much speed.

Wow...are you over reacting. No one ever implied that 5'9 was too short. All that was posted was that Rivals listed him at 5'9. I think y'all need a commitment.

Yeah, I made my comment because the size discussion is weird to me. Of course people can find examples of success related to a measurement. It doesn't tell us anything about the player though.

I'd say I misunderstood the post. I wouldn't call it over reacting, based on what I thought the post was.

As long as he’s not 5’5 or something and he has the strength to block, which this kid definitely has, than height isn’t a big issue for me. You want him to have a low center of gravity anyway.

A video of him against, say, a Mater Dei type program and dominating is and always will be better than videos against suspect competition. It’s a measuring stick. And I’m aware Mike Hart played against lousy competition in high school and had a good college career. Just so we don’t have to rehash that for the billionth time every time a comment about competition comes up.

I think he’s an exciting prospect and I hope we land him. And Salahuddin as well. We need the help badly and a kid like this coming in with a chip of his shoulder could develop into something special.

Crystal has moved him from 56 to 73% CUSE

And remember, Adams has to sit for a year. So in 2018, Howard/Salahuddin could be thunder and lightening.
