Got POY over Cole Swider...

Not sure why he deleted his tweet about it but earlier their coach tweeted in reply to someone saying brycen upset swider for the award that swider wasn't eligible for it this year.

Not sure why we wouldn't be eligible. I don't think there's a an age limit, he plays for the same team. Odd. I vaguely recall what you're talking about but wasn't that regarding Cole's eligibility for the McDonald's All-American Game?

Hmm...not sure, I thought it was in regards to brycen "besting cole for the award" and the coach replied something along the lines of it was fantastic that brycen won blah blah but that cole wasn't eligible for the award this year but it wasn't up long and then deleted so I'm not really sure. Either way it's awesome to see brycen win it!

"The 6-foot-4, 170-pound junior shooting guard averaged 21.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.4 steals this past season, leading the Saints (25-7) to the New England Prep School Athletic Council Class AA Tournament title game. Goodine connected on 52.3 percent of his 3-pointers (134-of-256) and 89.8 percent of his free throws (141-of-157) and concluded his junior year with 1,904 points in his prep basketball career."

Pretty good numbers!

Holy crap, super solid numbers.

The kid is very very good, I was excited when we signed him originally and he's only gonna get better. I give the staff props for identifying him as early as they did. Do we know what staff member originally found him?

GMac while recruiting Swider. BTW Swider’s dad was GMac’s biggest fan after meeting him.

His Grandma.

I believe he was drooling for a Cuse offer and let it be known early on to those with worthy ears

Holy smokes. He connected on 52.3% of his 3s? I like it! Shot them at a pretty good clip too!

If my math is right, he's taking approx. 8 threes a game and making approx. 4 of them. I'm pretty sure that's more threes per game than anybody has ever made at Syracuse while also making a higher percentage than anybody has ever shot.

Its a lot easier to shoot in high school than it is in college, but that's still pretty impressive.

Gotta hand it to Villanova who landed Swider. They are killing it on the recruiting trail. Look at team this year, their big men have tons more skills than our guys. They can actually shoot jump shots and dribble, what a strange concept...

Villanova has a good team. Cool story, bro.
