The Boneyard has quite the thread going about Akoks visit. They are a pretty sad bunch over there.
 
This kids recruitment has been pretty quiet and consistent throughout. Doesnt give away too much and he isnt into the social media spotlight. Looks like he doesnt show a whole lot of expressions. Half wonder if anyone has a good idea of what this kid is going to do lol. We have been on him the longest and hopefully his relationship with gmac pays off. Wouldnt surprise me if he goes to uconn either because of his familiarity with the program and area as well as Hurley literally trying everything to land him. My opinion, I dont think pitt has much of a chance unless it was a few years ago and capel was doing capel thing$. Providence ehhhh I dont think so. Will be interesting if he decides fairly quick and signs in Nov or if he waits longer like he once said he would.

Wow.
They’re exceeding even my lowest of expectations. They seem really hung up on Syracuse weather and JB’s age for some odd reason...
That thread is juvenile at best, and imbecilic at worst. Not a good look, even for them. Sad.

I guess it's how they have to cope. 10 years ago they thought they'd be a power program forever. Now they're a middle of the pack mid-major looking up at Central Florida... and they have to watch the team they hate most leave them in the dustbin of history. Really... the best trash talk they have at their disposal probably IS a 2 degree warmer average. It's like people standing on the deck of the Titanic as it slips beneath the water laughing about the paint color of the ships they can see passing in the distance.
 
I doubt anyone will get any good info on this visit for a couple days that’s usually how it works for our OV’s. And no matter how well it went or what he told the coaches you will not hear our insiders say that he verballed because our staff wouldn’t put that out there we always let the kids do it.
 
Yeah I'd expect this to remain quiet. He'll take his visit to Pitt. Evans and other Pitt homers will spin things to sound like they're ahead while Akok says nothing. And then a couple weeks after he'll annouce, probably quietly, without anyone REALLY knowing ahead of time his thought process. Just hope it's us.

I'm not sure about akok..there are others that would know that who could chime in. I know BG had family with him.
 
Anyone know if Boeheim has an elevator speech for the moms similar to that rattlesnake mineshaft thing Babers was talking about?

We would all do well to ask ourselves: "What is my mineshaft rattlesnake anecdote and am I getting the mileage out of it that I should be?"


Oh and also, we should ask ourselves: "How did that guy kill those rattlesnakes??"
