Practice Day #14 Closed to media
10:00am-12:00pm

I'm torn between wanting 50+ yard plays for the offense and not letting them happen for the Defense. Curious on how crisp they will be and if anyone can catch burst and hit the end zone.

We should have a pretty clear depth chart after today. Like everyone else...I’m dying to know what OL will be.

I'm guessing that if guys have small owies, theyll be held out. If that's the case, I dont think the scrimmage will be telling. That's assuming Dakota, Heckel, Alexander dont play. If so, they could be experimenting with guys, at different positions. Not holding my breath. If the backups have success? Then giddyup.

Ok ... I’ll give some I wanna wait to see what SU puts out than I’ll counter ...plus can’t get in trouble giving away
First ... no apparentt injuries today !
The first third the D was tough
After that the O won IMO
one coach said best Dino D he has been a part of . I kept my distance but as usual all the coaches came to me and were the same great people they were during recruiting!
On injury update Dino was a little ginger with the handshake due to his shoulder this could be a factor when Hugh freeze has to congratulate him on the win in 2 weeks !
Most WRs did not dress as precaution only
Taj who had a rough day but a TD to close
The scrimmage! # 87 had a day
Rex was pretty good
The O line did pretty good as well
Jarviian had a long one through a huge hole
Jordan had one outside but was also nice to see a short one between the tackles
Oh and your starting QBs feet were a big factor today
All in all I saw a lot of good things on both sides of the ball

Had to look it up: #87 is Luke Benson! Very interesting! (I am assuming he meant on offense...I didn't look up #87 on D).
All I hear about individual players and the team is tidbits from everyone here and what the local media puts out, but we are starting to hear more and more frequently that 87 is doing good things. Chalk another one up to the coaching staff being able to recognize talent because he was very lightly recruited and and Cuse was by FAR his biggest offer.

I was thinking the same thing. Have heard his name surface a lot this camp. This staff is impressive at recruiting sneaky good players.

Will Luke play this year? I know he is light, but still sounds like he is getting it done in camp

Don't like the "moving guys around on the oline through the first 3 games of the season" talk. That can't be good.

The Achilles heel of the 2019 season? Boy, I hope not
If that means that Heckel will need more reps at C to get Servais to RT? I'm fine with it. Make the move for Clemson so they dont have the film.

Tisdale with some 1st team reps.

The only thing we can as fans is hope that the moving is limited, correct, and almost all figured out by game 3. One interpretation on my part is he didn't sound overly concerned, he just sounded matter of fact, as if he likes what he's working with as per depth and now it's just tinkering to fine tune the overall talent level of the group. At least that's what I heard.

Pretty sure he was a camp offer and it was pretty immediate so as you said, kudos to this Staff for identifying talent and then pouncing on it. Go Orange!!!!!!!!!
