Off the court--
SU got a break playing in Atlanta during GT's exam week. Apparently, it was a fairly big deal on their campus. It was a breaking of their tradition, which didn't go over well with the faculty and a decent percentage of the student body. Probably not much effect on the players; but, I would guess it held down attendance in their student section.
On the court--
It looks like the substitution pattern may have changed.
The starting interior players--Sidibe & Dolezaj--both had excellent all-around games. They "stuffed the stat sheet" with rebounds, blocks, steals and even a few assists. Not to mention deflections, and generally hard-nosed play. Their ability to succeed at the dirty work allows transition offense--and this team needs transition opportunities if it's going to score at a decent pace.
