Class of 2022 New top 100

Copeland is criminally underrated.

Really, that's perfect. Let incompetence keep the vultures away. All that matters is what these guys do when they get here. That and world peace.

Maybe (I know that won't be a popular take). I'm very interested to see him play at IMG.

Me too.

I was very encouraged by General20's glowing endorsement of the game film, but a little disappointed with Peach Jam performance. He's probably somewhere in the middle, truthfully -- but there's nothing better than attending a big-time prep school like IMG to test yourself against other high major D1 players. This experience will be great for his developmental curve.

As someone posted, his numbers in the Peach Jam were not very impressive. He is likely ranked accurately given his performance of late. He has some flashy moves going the the basket and is a creative passer but he looks to me like a kid that's not gonna be anything special right out of the gate.

His biggest issue holding him back is his shot. It’s not his physical tools.

Woody Newton was a totally different player from the summer before his final season to the next. IMG could do a lot for a kid with a lot to work with.

it won’t be popular unless he commits and then doesn’t live up to something people wanted. Then they will absolutely destroy him.

So true. To me, there is nothing wrong with liking a player's potential but understanding that there are flaws in a player's game. Obviously, this is true with the majority of recruits. Some of the guys we are after are much more polished at this stage. I like Copeland's potential, but he has a ways to go on the developmental curve, IMO. And...this opinion has zero to do with his "box scores."

He really didn't play that bad lol. So many guys played like . Just because he wasn't a standout doesn't mean he have some solid play. Had multiple games with 10 5 and 5+

i watched all his games. He seemed to play worse as the games went along.

And I really hope we get him. I think he has a ton of potential.
