I may be overly optimistic, but a NYS piece still seems like it could be valuable to a national conference (B10) or a conference seeking to gain new markets and/or block the aforementioned (SEC)
I assure you I don’t have rose-colored glasses on, but I do believe there is value in the NE if there is a counter by the SEC or another raid by the B10 that effectively kills off the ACC.
The ND hate around here is off the charts. I get it; it would be great to have them join as a full-time member. That being said, they've been a good partner under the deal we offered them. If history tells us anything, it is a) they are loathe to join the B10 and b) they are actually pretty...
I believe the OOC potential is greater. SU vs half the B10/Pac 12 is compelling to me. It will be interesting how they handle games outside of the Alliance.
Do we have the luxury of making a home team (i.e., current assistant) pick given where we are in the current landscape? I’d throw the world at Hop, but Red and Mac haven’t earned that IMO.
I am perfectly content helping out ND and maintaining the status quo after years of hoping and praying for security. I’ll take the ACC in its current form for years to come
They were great guests to have in our community. They had a passion and respect for the game and were incredibly gracious on the whole (in my experience). I hope they come back in droves in a few years.
Good on George for getting his revenge this way. Afterall, after 5+ years of never making it back to the ranks of being a real OC (not his current made up Co-Offensive Long Passing (save go routes, September games and away game) Coordinator job), I hope it brings him happiness. Bless his heart...
Tony Pauline-scouts told him Slayton moved from 6th rounder to the 4th, possibly into the 3rd. Described to TP as the best player on the field. Quick, explosive.
15 minutes or so in.

Cute? What a **** comment. I guess you missed the "at best" piece. He doesn't have Hill's speed, but his best shot is on ST and/or in a hybrid role. He isn't an NFL QB and never will be.
You can just see a PE partner pushing for the addition of UCF, Cincinnati, etc. in order to maximize their investment (I can't blame them). My God; what are they thinking?
I'd love to see them get *attempt* to get this through 8-10 BOTs, state legislatures and governor's offices. From our perspective, the freedom of information requests in the various states would be incredible entertainment.
