    2023-24 NBA Season

SGA has become quite the foul merchant. He's a great example for other young players who want to earn a living at the line. Kiss the ass of the NBA referees claiming their job is tough via the media, then watch the calls roll in.

Glad you guys got to see a good Fox performance! As frustrating as this season has been at times, it's nice to know you can count on Sabonis and Fox playing regardless of the schedule or opponent.

Hope like hell the Lakers are not the opponent in the play-in tourney. For reasons that are still not clear to me the two guys that have season tickets behind me are both Lakers fans. Usually leave after the third quarter but were absolutely insufferable during the first Lakers game this season...

    NC State Postgame Thoughts 2

Chris Bell looked irritated a bit towards the end. I don't blame him. You can't have one 3 point attempt in the second half after starting 8 for 9...anyway, great win.

Anyone else considering going to Cal next Fall?

I'm in. Happy to help with any sort of event but tailgating might be a challenge; hopefully SU organizes something. My wife is a USC alum so we have gone to the "weekender" a couple times at Berkeley and had a great time. FWIW USC usually has a couple events in SF the night before, then has a...

    CFP semifinals 1/1/2024

I can understand Washington running the ball there, if you get the first down, you win the game - no chance of some fluke return or trick play. Something for coaches to consider is making sure the team is prepared to carry an injured player off the field. If the linemen pick up Dillon Johnson...

    2023-24 NBA Season

I know divisions don't matter as much as they do in the NFL and MLB but Harden going to the Pacific makes the best division in sports even more talent rich. Likely hall of famers: Lebron, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden...

ACC Football Schedule Model Release | 6 PM

I just went to the Cal USC game on Saturday. Cannot overstate how beautiful the campus is with all the redwoods, streams and hills. Beautiful stadium as well on the very top of the hill, cannot wait to return next fall!

Embarrassing. Although the offense was pretty solid in the second half. Watching Philly last night I was fantasizing about Sirianni coming home to Western NY (I realize this isn't going to happen)... doesn't hurt that his GM keeps hitting the mark on their line picks. Anyone remember this story...

    FSU Postgame Pow-Wow

I didn't expect a win today. But that field goal attempt was so demoralizing. It shouldn't be too much to ask to be competitive in one of the last 3 games. At least give the team a chance to inevitably get effd from behind by the ACC officials in the 4th quarter.

ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

The three schools may be pissed but as soon as I see West Virginia referenced in a profile all credibility goes out the door.

ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

Thanks for the post. I think the criticism of the ACC's lack of action up to this point has largely been overblown. This, however, would be concrete evidence of administrators and the conference sitting on their hands and allowing an inferior conference to take the conference's lunch money.

ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

I'm in Sacramento. Coincidentally, Syracuse joined the ACC right after my move to Nashville and made the trips to GT, Louisville, Clemson, etc. a breeze. Now that I'm on the West coast, it's only right that the ACC adds Cal and Stanford to throw me a bone. I mentioned this earlier in the thread...

ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

The ACC instability has largely been conjecture - a grand total of 1 school has left: Maryland. Meanwhile the Big 12 has lost the only schools that matter: Oklahoma and Texas. Not to mention Nebraska, Texas A&M and Missouri. In spite of what some weirdos on the West Virginia message boards say...

ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

Both schools align well with the ACC elite academic schools from a cultural standpoint. As a Cuse transplant in Northern California (despite my username) I selfishly would love this. ACC, PAC-12, and BIG alliance / conference realignment

So the Big 12 replaced their 2 biggest brands (by a mile) with the Arizona schools and some mid-majors. Twitter has such a short memory - the conference is worse next year, not better.
