Should they give Mahoney some series?

Your original point was clear, but if Dungey is the guy you don't take him out while the game is still undecided. He needs all the reps he can get and he is way better than Mahoney, especially in this offense.

Should they give Mahoney some series?

All of the above. New system, same crummy line, and facing superior athletes on Defense in 2 out of first 3 games. Growing pains are to be expected for sure but I don't agree he was a better qb last year.

Should they give Mahoney some series?

Maybe those 5 people in your section should coach the team. Sub standard? I disagree. He's in his third game in a system his coach says takes years to start clicking, and he's already putting together the best qb stats in program history- just not wins. Right now our main problem is a lack of...

Should they give Mahoney some series?

This board kills me- last year everybody was worried how we'd replace the guy after he left early for the NFL. Dungey is taking too many hits to last the season behind a shaky line. His legs were spent and he took a(another) beating yesterday. He needs the big uglies to keep him clean if he...

I would agree that at least we appear to be a well coached team on offense, defense is another story. I've been saying for years when my buddy and I commence the annual debate whether or not to renew our tickets while we question why we keep doing this to ourselves (we drive in from Rochester)...

Out of state kids are easier than in state an example

Gee, that's too bad. I'll really miss those straw man arguments like we shouldn't commit all our recruiting resources to one high school. And where else will I find such insight that some kids grow up and dream of playing at ND? The point is that NY puts kids in these schools on the regular-...

Not to nitpick, but I wasn't referring to Arthur Jones, rather the Jones brothers from Rochester- Jarron and Jamir. Perhaps you've heard of them? Both "mega recruits" -- to use your words-- who signed at ND out of Aquinas?? Ringing any bells yet?? Jarron is entering his senior year and is an...

I'm objecting to your "wide net" perspective. People act like the state is devoid of all talent- You've got ballers within an hour and a half to two hours away on the regular who have an opportunity to play in front of family and friends. We need to get more of our fair share of these kids...
