Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

Feel bad for him he wanted to go to an Ivy Penn wanted him to prep a year first then Cornell turned him down last minute. Old Dominion wanted him to visit but he couldn't make it that weekend and it was an offer that if he didn't come that weekend they were offering someone else. Albany is...

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

I messed up on that part realized after your response I meant to say the db from cns has bad grades gross was the other corner they like. His grades are fine but I think they want to watch him camp again from a few people I've heard from.

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

The cns kid is Watts but he's got no grades as of now he's a corner who's real fast. They like him as a returner and cb. Dennis is a stud safety he's a ballhawk his tenth grade year he had atleast one int in every game played that year but don't know if contact has been made or if they will...

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

Just want to give a little update it's been awhile. Stevie is number two on the board for rb's behind a back from Georgia but his offer is commitable and the staff expects him to possibly be the first commit. He's number 3 lb on the board so his position could be on either side of the board...

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

I got a feeling he's going to put up crazy numbers this year now that we have a super athletic qb that we didn't play last year. The kid runs the zone read like nobody I've seen do in the Syracuse area. Stevie will break off a lot of long runs solely on that alone. Our line lost a few guys so we...

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

Only camp I know for sure he attended was BC with Noah and Damico and the SU team camp this past weekend. I'm sure he has attended more of them just not sure what ones. His father is on top of everything with him. I'll find out more in the next month.

Class of 2018 RB Stevie Scott III (NY) Decommitted from Rutgers/Verbal to Indiana

I will fill everyone in on him once I head back to practices. I haven't had much of a chance to go in the limited amount of practices we have had. I'm sure coaches saw him this past weekend at the team camp this past weekend unfortunately I wasn't able to attend. Once I hear the scoop from all...

Class of 2017 Getting kids from Don Bosco and STA is

I totally understand that I don't think he took it too personal like most would he's a smart kid I just think he was looking to lock up a spot just incase he's not around next year and didn't want to wait any longer to commit to a school. He's also not the first kid that he's been brutally...

Class of 2017 Getting kids from Don Bosco and STA is

I know that when he has evaluated kids at Cba he has been brutally honest with one of my guys. He flat out will tell you what he thinks of you and doesn't worry about hurting kids feelings. I personally think he is testing some of these nys kids out to see if they take it to heart and don't come...

Class of 2017 ATH Isaiah McDuffie (NY) Committed to BC

Noah is definitely not high on the staffs list. He's pretty much off the list at this point unless they see something at team camp that they like. They told him he's not fast enough and haven't recruited him at all.

Class of 2018 RB Dylan McDuffie (NY) Grad Portal from Ga Tech to Kansas

I coach for CBA just curious is Dylan attending St Francis this year?
  15. S

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

We have a lot of pro cuse guys on our staff but we don't really have too much influence on the kids we just try to keep it real with them. We try to make sure the school is a good fit and give the kids all the necessary information and tell them to go where you are wanted. Sometimes SU might not...
  16. S

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

I can't say right now as I'm not even sure if anybody from the new staff has reached out to him yet. They will at some point he's too good not to and is right in SU's backyard. LSU loves him and Clemson has reached out as well. Him beating teams by himself was another reason it was difficult...
  17. S

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

Another big thing this year for Noah was that we really struggled getting him the ball. Qb play really hurt us so we weren't able to utilize him as much as we wanted to. He was double and triple teamed a lot so we ran the ball with Stevie Scott a ton who is going to be a big time prospect. Kid...

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

Once he goes to camp this summer I'm sure that they will get a good look at him. He thrives in those types of settings. His route running and getting out of breaks will stick out like a sore thumb. He is about as good as you can get for a high schooler getting off the line when teams press even...

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

His game speed this past season wasn't great but he was battling through a high ankle sprain almost all season long. His biggest strengths are his route running which is already close to college level, his hands are above average, and his leaping ability which is very good as nobody in high...
  20. S

Class of 2017 WR Noah Jordan-Williams (NY) Verbal to Boston College

He's working on his speed he ran high 4.5's at the junior combine but he was really training hard after the season to get his time down. I personally don't think he's fast enough yet he's like how Bruce Williams was just a guy who gets open and doesn't drop the ball. He runs great routes and can...

Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

That's one thing I noticed from the tape as well was that he didn't put any plays from the lb position on there. With our system we tend to play with our backers near the line majority of our plays and let our Mike roam side to side more. I'll give him a heads up about getting more plays in...
  22. S

Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

He played last year with a broken bone in his foot and mono. He's gotta get a little bit faster but he's got a great motor. His first game back was against Liverpool and without him we wouldn't have won. He was the biggest difference maker on our d from that point on.
  23. S

Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

He is a good student has like a 90 average should have no issues on that front same goes for Noah both should be fine. The good thing about Dan is he should continue to grow his father and brother are both tall and built well but he's already 6'2 pushing 6'3.
  24. S

Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

I don't think Dan has an offer. Not sure if Noah still has an offer or not I'll find out more after the visit. He will get offers not sure if SU will offer him but I know the coaches will like Dan. He's a great kid from a great family. He will probably get up to 230-235 by his freshman year of...
  25. S

Class of 2017 LB Dan Damico (NY) Signed to Albany

I coach Dan at CBA kid is a stud who missed the first four games with mono. He is a throwback type player who's motor never stops. If he played in PA he would have a bunch of offers already he would be a great addition kid is a real hard worker and plays and practices like he's in college...

Class of 2016 Being short of 85

No he didn't sign anywhere. He's looking at all D3 schools and quite honestly he would never play here. He has all the measurables just doesn't have the smarts to play qb at the college level.
  27. S

Class of 2016 DE Jaquwan Nelson (FL) SIGNED LOI

Marshall is definitely signing with Georgia and it's been known since this past week. Auburn dropped him once he decided to visit two times in back to back weeks he played a lot of games with Auburn.
  28. S

Class of 2016 RB/CB Joshua Mack (NY) Verbal to Maine/Transferred to Liberty

Jigga man definitely got two great players. He's done well taking over for Giufre in the area. He's another local guy doing well in the coaching world. He can flat out recruit and helps that he's got a lot of connections in New York. He was trying to get hired at SU in the past just hasn't...

Class of 2016 Kiante Enis decommits from Michigan

Most recent article out there says he wants to stay close to home and his offer wasn't pulled from Michigan. Looks like Indiana is the favorite here.

Class of 2016 WR Devin Butler (MD) SIGNED LOI

My father hedid all the hand fighting stuff he was the Wr coach and OC. He passed away this past year which is why I took his spot on the staff. Bruce Williams and Lavar Lobdell are also both part of Casamentos staff.

Class of 2016 WR Devin Butler (MD) SIGNED LOI

Yea I played for him on his first team at CBA now I coach there. What school are you at money I'll have to introduce myself to you if we cross paths.
  34. S

Class of 2016 WR Devin Butler (MD) SIGNED LOI

He was the CBA coach locally for over 15 years went to Saint Johns College Prep in DC area this past year as the o coordinator and was just given the head coaching job there last week. His team plays in the major conference there that has a ton of talent every year.
  35. S

Class of 2016 WR Devin Butler (MD) SIGNED LOI

Just saying it's not a bad thing that Casamento is the head coach at a big school in DC who is backed by Under Armour CEO. I'm sure Maryland will get the majority of the blue chip guys but it's good to have someone like Cas there who has put quite a few guys at SU in the past.
  36. S

Class of 2016 WR Devin Butler (MD) SIGNED LOI

Hall is going to Maryland or Alabama. He's at the same school that Casamento just got the head football job at.

    More changes

Well that was fast moving for Brotski since i had dinner with him lastnight. Good guy his youngest son is going to be a stud qb.
  38. S

    Eric White

Brotski said he is here until February that's all he's been told which I would imagine the others may be in a similar position.

Class of 2016 WR/CB Earnest Edwards (NY) Joining Coaching Staff at UPrep Rochester

I knew Rhode Island would end up offering him. I told my old coach about him when he was up visiting our practice earlier this year. Fleming can coach corners and has had lots of success over the years at the position. We're making a mistake not looking at him kid is a gamer.

Class of 2016 WR/CB Earnest Edwards (NY) Joining Coaching Staff at UPrep Rochester

Amazed he hasn't gotten many looks. I think the only other school to offer him has been Wagner for football but that will change quick. He should blow up soon after last weekend. He had 288 yards receiving a fumble for a td and a pick. UB I'm pretty sure offered for track. He beat my team first...

We haven't even hired a coach yet...

I think the whole announcement thing Today was all speculation that Frost was going to take it. There is way too many rumors and smoke screens out there right now. Ash isn't definitely coming here there's still more people were looking at. Be patient there's still games to be played this weekend...
  42. S

    Chris Ash thread...

Ask the buckeye fans who they don't want to lose and its Ash. They seem to think their D would slip up with Fickell in charge completely. Most of the top teams have co coordinators or more job titles than your average school does. It gets them paid or they use it to retain them.

That could be fun and dangerous at the same time I like it.

That horse was never really in consideration even though he would love the job. That's all he had to say.

Not at the moment he's not. Heard straight from the horses mouth.

    Shafer Dismissed per SI

Haha I can promise you I haven't been in the same room as Coyle.
  48. S

Class of 2016 RB Jaydakis Scott (NY)

Thanks for the heads up. He's a good player fastest guy we played against all season. Aquinas has a lot of talent all over the field but the reason why they are so good this year is their line play. They give the qb plenty of time to throw and you can't run at them in the middle. Riggins really...

Class of 2016 RB Jaydakis Scott (NY)

The other one that might not be known is a receiver/db named Ernest Edwards he's going to UB last time I heard. He's a track guy real good player but takes plays off. They also have a lineman I think the center who is a preferred walk on who turned down 1aa offers to go there.

    The all-inclusive Cuse Coaching Thread

I agree 100% we shouldn't be targeting a defensive coach if it does indeed happen that Shafer is gone. College football as a whole is offense oriented right now and we would be foolish to go the other direction. We need a scheme that will work with the biggest weakness of SU and that's not being...
