His biggest impact is his brain and the fact that he doesn't require shots to positively impact the game. Those guys are highly valued on teams with high level guys.

I think this is spot on. He's a valuable player who's value here was highlighted by the fact that we had nobody who knew how to play basketball on the team. Maliq is a good/very good player but he wasn't elevating us off bubble status.

Okay I love Maliq but comparing him to Andre Jackson is crazy. Jackson is one of the best athletes in the NBA and literally dominated games in college without being able to shoot. I can't think of a good comparison for Maliq in the league.

Their offense has greatly improved and is advanced compared to what every one else is doing. However, they have won the last 2 years because their D and rebounding create a lot of easy looks. As great as their O is they did struggle to score more than they struggled to get stops and board.
