    2023 Springsteen Tour Dates

My seventh Bruce show and he just keeps getting better. His catalog is so vast you will never get everything, but missed Rosalita, always a fun live performance. But that’s why you can go to multiple shows on the same tour never see the same program. And watching the band react to audibles when...

That is true. Full amount is credited to your annual giving level, the first sort criteria, at time of commitment. However you only accrue priority points, the second giving level, as you make your payments.

Class of 2019 PG Dakota Leffew (GA/MD)

Not being argumentative, but Cadeau and O’Connell averaged fewer assists than Judah and Pedulla only 0.2 more. What makes them more of a “true point guard” than Judah? And to be fair, I would include the freshman from Ga. Tech on the list.

Class of 2019 PG Dakota Leffew (GA/MD)

How many “true point guards” were there in the ACC last year? I assume that would be a pass first player who runs the offense and piles up assists, but Judah was fourth in the conference in assists last year and he’s not a true point guard?

You don’t change giving levels based on the manual process of applying longevity bonuses to priority points. Longevity bonus simply adds priority points used to sort within a level.

If the payments are made by the schools it would require additional revenue or cutting costs. Despite the narrative college athletics programs are not sitting on piles of cash. He was also shooting just a shade under 35% this year until McLeod went down and, combined with Benny's issues, the trickle down necessitated the move of Justin to PF where he was physically overmatched and beat up virtually every game by bigger, stronger opponents. The effort he put in on...

Clemson wants out of the ACC too...(shocker)

And what ACC teams would be anxious to go to the B12 at this point? I don't think any AD would recommend bailing on the ACC to go to a conference that pays markedly lower media rights fees because of what might happen if FSU wins their case in Florida, wins all appeals, then wins a case in NC...

Clemson wants out of the ACC too...(shocker)

Check your map. Piscataway is in NJ. In today's media landscape it's all about in state vs. out of state carriage fees for various cable networks. That may not be the case in 20 years, but for now Rutgers does nothing for the BTN in terms of NYS carriage fees.

I use this site as my bible: https://www.warrennolan.com/basketball/2024/ This is where the predictive-based vs. results-based differentiation is laid out. Syracuse MBB finally releases a statement

Orange United donates 100% of the money you pledge to the sport you direct it to. If you don’t direct it to a specific sport it goes to a general fund. Orange United is also broader based and offers options for more modest donors via a subscription based option that starts at $10/month. It...

Red was very consistent with his standards and punishments. Have to be as a new coach. That’s why the report that Quadir stopped going to class weeks ago puzzles me. Not really true. NCAA is not enforcing the year in residence rule for multiple transfers while the court case is argued. Not clear if the injunction will expire but moot point. However, court case has been pushed to June 2025 so players CAN transfer a second time with no penalty at least until...

So Who Is The First Portaler?

I may have missed something but the way I understand it, there was an injunction that allowed two time transfers to play while a court case was argued. NCAA asked for a continuance to cover the rest of the academic year, but to my knowledge the case is still pending. I may very well be wrong but...

    Donor Fatigue

Frankly the most likely outcome is that the schools pay the players and non revenue sports become club only. Not sure that’s a bad thing. I’m sure some will object but not sure what a competitive field hockey team brings to the overall college experience other than to field hockey players.

Well, of course. If they want more sports than football and, in a few cases, men’s basketball. SU AD is not sitting on piles of money, nor do they spend extravagantly. What would be a reasonable salary pool for over 600 student athletes? And if that money doesn’t come from corporate, small...

Again, if the schools pay the athletes, revenue will need to increase or costs elsewhere will need to be cut. Right, wrong or indifferent additional cost of compensation for athletes have to be offset somewhere in the budget.
