The pick and roll comment was sarcasm, the true point guard thing JB through the years has always done well with great pg's I think in part because of the freedom he gives his players. Frank Howard is elite defender in the zone Jalen Carey is nowhere near that level now.

Well we really have no true PG and it seems no offensive plays other the pick and roll. This team is building towards elite with the kids coming and already here if they keep staying 2 or 3 years like the last 2 years with Oshae and Tyus.

I agree Frank is really good in the zone but it wasn't something that just happened, I tend to agree more with SUFan44 Frank has learned the how to play the zone and his length certainly helps. Carey also won't be around till he is a senior either.

Carey is/was much quicker then Frank and a better defender from day one on campus in my humble opinion but cannot see Carey staying 4 years like Frank either.
