Adrian Autry to Take Helm of Men's Basketball as Jim Boeheim's Storied Career Comes to End

Jim's about 6 miles down the lake from David. Nice joint, I hope he stays in CNY, at least in the Summers. Would be super pleased to see him rooting on the team from the stands ala Digger at ND.

    Howard Washington

there were moments this year where you saw how the ball moves with a real point guard. My sense is we'll be loaded with 2's and there s/b time for a pure 1.

    How you feeling today?

    Very proud of our team.

So now we wait on the roster

Love Oshae, but the bully ball in the lane he used this year won't work against the men in the League. Needs a bit more time.

    JB presser tonight...

10 shares of Disney stock cost $1,000. Disney has a market cap of $157 Billion. Units in real estate projects like this are at minimum $50,000 and more likely six figures (and we don't know his ownership is the minimum). Not quite the same.

    Ultimate absurdity...

CTO - respect your views and what you do for the program. One can rightly debate whether a suspension was warranted. That said, a suspension is a suspension. It's supposed to be harsh. It's just one step below a termination.

    I have something to admit

The Golden State analogy is a good one, but they only run their small unit in spurts (that said, when they do their +/- is off the charts). Putting aside KJ's 4 minutes, we only played 6 guys last night. This is a fun team. We'll win some we shouldn't win and lose some we shouldn't lose...

    A little sensitive are we?

So, a guy gets in a bull ring and, showing off for his friends, starts taunting the bull knowing the bull is on a chain. The bull breaks the chain and gores the guy. You say "Bad Bull" and smile when no one is looking.

    coleman

In general I cringe when us amateurs arm-chair quarterback JAB. That said, I think that season where we had 20 wins and didn't make the big dance informs his intense desire to win every game at the expense of developing his team for the league and tourney. Love Lydon, but we're going nowhere...

Is this the game that the light switch goes on for Roberson?

JAB said he was much more active setting screens which led to open lanes to the boards. He said when he stands around he's easy to box out.

    not great news for Rak

This and it's not insignificant that he went top of the 2nd round, vs. bottom of the first. Perkins is gone (too expensive) and Haywood is gone (his contract is very valuable to teams in the arcane world of NBA Salary cap).

    not great news for Rak

Totally expected. Pretty crowded at the 4/5 with Mozgov, Varajeao, KLove, Tristan (he will be resigned), and Rak.
  25. osullfam

Rak's rings will look nice at Alumni functions

Agree about Roc. The Cav's are built to win now and Rakeem is not a 19 year old project. He joins a really crowded/solid front-court of Mozgov, KLove, Tristan Thompson and Andy Varajao. There are a lot of Mozgov minutes available as he sits when they go small. Andy has been very injury prone...

Rak's rings will look nice at Alumni functions

KLove and LeBron are both running the same play. 2 years contracts with player options for the 2nd year. Gives them max flexibility and the highest earning potential with the new revenue sharing deal (max expected to go up 30%). I'd be shocked and disappointed if KLove left, given he has...

OT - Kevin Love - looks like he may done-done for rest of season

The Big 3 are all important for the Cav's, but if they had to lose one, KLove is the least unexpendable. LBJ is LBJ and the only true point back-up to Kyrie is Mathew Delladova. The obvious choice is to give Tristan Thompson KLoves minutes, but then you have 2 Bigs clogging things up. I think...

OT: What are the best public golf courses to play in Syracuse area

My favorite open to the public course in CNY is Timber Banks. That said, the multi-level greens were quite frustrating until I learned them. For that reason, I don't recommend TB for 1 round only.

    Is this real??

These guys grow up in a culture where the best jumps higher, dunks harder, crosses his man over and makes him look like a fool, swats the ball into the 5th row, etc. Kamisnky does none of that. Many of his releases are from below the rim. He's like a junk ball pitcher in baseball. These guys...

So I deleted my thread about the jersey...

Didn't see the thread, but the situation is a slow-motion train wreck. Someone had to have seen it at some point and correcting it (at least making it presentable from a distance) should have been a simple matter. Wow, that's multiple levels of incompetence.

Grad studies are career focussed. If his career is to play for pay somewhere, its in his best interest to start his career.

is there a strong argument that gbinije wouldnt come back?

If one assumes he will never be NBA bound, but will play for pay somewhere. And if he has his degree, staying makes little sense.
