    Purdue Tailgate/Tix: September 16th @ 7:30 pm

The IM lots will be in that giant grass intrumural area, so should be easy to setup tailgating activities. The downside to that location is that it is pretty far from the campus proper for those that want to explore the campus. I don't recall traffic to that area being all that difficult to...

    Purdue Tailgate/Tix: September 16th @ 7:30 pm

Take this with a grain of salt. There is a parking garage on the corner of 3rd and McCutcheon that our family used last year on weekends and family weekend that was free to park in. We attended the Nebraska game last year with our son. It is just south of the IM area (which is a big...

My thoughts on the upcoming season

Sudano is a classic glass half empty guy. Message boards by their very nature, bring out glass half full guys/gals - especially this board, which is starving to find something positive for this program. We like to talk about "our" team and why we love it so much. Why we want it to get better...

    the crane the crane

    1) Spiral in the east - check. 2) I think we see box girder in the west 3) and maybe, just maybe a box girder in the east. Now that is a day. Let's go craniacs!

They are working today. Another spiral is up on the west side.

    the crane the crane

I'm glad there has never been a camera on me whenever I have built a desk, outdoor grill etc. The inevitable headscratching, doing, undoing and redoing - not to mention cussing - would be quite a sight.

    the crane the crane

Now it looks like they have taken that vertical spiral down.

Cross Country NCAA Northeast Regionals [Buffalo, NY]: Fri Nov 15

Here is a picture he sent from Tuesday. It seems that the rain prior to the snow has made the course too treacherous as to make it unrunnable. They couldn't even plow it without getting stuck in mud.

Cross Country NCAA Northeast Regionals [Buffalo, NY]: Fri Nov 15

Got a message from my former teammate/coach of my alma mater. The regional is going to be run on the roads. The course is not runnable. This will really change the dynamic of event. Not sure I have ever seen or heard of this being done before.

The varsity runners did not run at John Reif. The unattached, I assume, are redshirting.

Syracuse Football & The Art of Building a Program

One of the first things that Dino did, that in my opinion really allowed the culture to take root, was to limit outside influences for one year. It gave him the ability to build his Ohana, to get the ball moving on the cultural change that he wanted to see take place. Then he welcomed every...

    Cramps....

Yes 20. Here is a link discussing it. The source is Mark Ennis, a respected talk show host who isn't backing down from the report: 20 current Football players request Transfer It's pretty much a tire fire here in Louisville. Bobby is the opposite of Babers' Ohana it's not funny. He isn't...

    Cramps....

Yeah, the local AM sports program reported that at least 20 players have asked for the transfer paperwork. It's been a great week to listen to these shows. Can't. Wait. For. Friday.

Cross Country NCAA Championship [Louisville, KY]: Sat Nov 18, 9:00 / 10:00

Wow, Just got back watching live only $10. Hats off to Paige and Justyn. The wind was a real factor today. I was worried a bit when Justyn went by with 400m to go and he was a few yards behind the top 2. Then I remembered he has a kick. Can't wait to watch the replay to see him unleash it...

Great race by Justyn! Just couldn't sustain the late push. Our 5-7 had a tough go late which was the difference. Former Victor standout and Orangeman MJ Erb finished 6th. We could have used that today. Still another podium finish. Nicely done boys!

    Orange jerseys are coming

The first thing I noticed from this photo that I don't think anyone has mentioned is this thread is the lack of a block S on the helmet. Personally, I am glad that more orange is in the uniform. The brighter orange will look better on HD TV sets with the chrome helmets. I think this jersey...
