Syracuse vs Central Michigan: Streaming/Radio info [ACCNetExtra / 3:30]

Question: If you have the "Sling Orange" package, but not the $5 "Sports Extra" add-on (i.e. no ESPNEWS or ESPNU), will you still be able to access these "ACC Network Extra" games via the Watch ESPN app? Any help is appreciated.

    Student tickets

So looking at the available inventory, this only affects the Florida State game, correct? because there are no seats in the traditional student section that are being offered to the general public for the other 5 games. Taking a quick look at the Dome's website: This was a fun thread though! :)

    More cord cutting news

You get WatchESPN even without the $5 add-on, you just won't be able to view ESPNU/ESPNews/Etc. content. You still get all the ESPN1/2/3 shows though (unless a game is blacked out in your area due to regional broadcast).

Is S.U. doing the "Next Fan Up" promo again?

Some of you may recall that last season S.U. (ostensibly Coach Shafer) offered a "Next Fan Up" promo, in which fans received an additional free ticket for every ticket they purchased. This deal was also made retroactive for season ticketholders, and the additional seats were added to our MyCuse...

Individual tickets go on sale Wed. 8/5

Aren't all season ticketholders getting free extra seats to the Rhode Island game? 1 extra for every 1 season seat purchased (like the Villanova game last year). I could swear I read that somewhere, but now I can't find the link. If it's still happening, anyone know when they'll be added to our...

    Renewals

Easy peasy on my end. Got the renewal e-mail around 4:30 PM, and had completed checkout & paid in full less than 10 minutes later. The seatback thing wasn't a big deal. I didn't want them, but it was clearly called out in the renewal e-mail (entire paragraph was even in bold), so I knew going in...

Low 300s vs High 100s (Seats)

I've sat in both. My favorites have always been the 100s right behind the S.U. sideline (as close as possible to the team). Yes, you sacrifice quite a bit in terms of view, seeing the whole field, watching plays develop, etc. However, I feel it's worth it in terms of what you gain by being right...

Best place to get a sandwich!!!!

I'm still a sucker for Brooklyn Pickle sandwiches, although I'll throw in a plug for Lucky 7 Grocery & Deli. Comparable sandwich at a lower price, and they won't charge you extra for cheese. Wegman's subs are good, but used to be better. Years ago, their bread was better. More "crusty" and made...

So the leaf rakers showed up today

Did someone conduct exit polling as people left the Dome after the game? Did they ask who those fans were, where they came from, how long they drove to get there, what was their connection to SU, etc? Just seems like a lot of assumptions are being made by some people in this thread about the...

So the leaf rakers showed up today

I was shocked when I checked Facebook and saw how many of my friends from S.U. went back for Homecoming this year (many of whom live/work very far away). Usually a few of us will make it back for Homecoming each season, but this was BY FAR the most I've seen in a single year. There wasn't a...

    FINAL: Wake Forest Tailgate Info

Sorry Mark, I won't be at the tailgate so can't help you out. Last Push For Season Tickets

Look at the pictures I posted of just Section 308. The first is Ticketmaster's listed inventory for those looking to buy just the Villanova game. The second is the Virtual Venue listing of seats available as season tickets. You'll notice that there's no overlap between those two sets of...

    Last Push For Season Tickets

Keep in mind that you would need to add the tickets listed as available on the Ticketmaster page (individual game) PLUS the ones available on the Virtual Venue site (season tickets). Totally different inventories. For example, look at Section 308: There's no overlap there, so you need to add...

Need Help Finding #2 (Paulus) Cuse Jersey!

Some of you may recall that in 2010 Syracuse broke from their "only sell #44 jerseys!" edict and actually released a jersey with a different number: that number was 2, and the player was Greg Paulus... I mean "anonymous, totally generic, random, not a real person, imaginary football player"...

They used to have exactly what you're talking about. It was called "DomeView." My season tickets are here

Mine arrived today! Judging from the envelope's condition though, I can only assume my mailman is a Georgetown alum (which would be a nice promotion, since most Georgetown alums end up as garbagemen). No away game tickets yet, but I assume (hope) those will be arriving soon as well. Is that...

Would a rewards program increase attendance at Syracuse University football games? (PS)

And so it begins... From today's FanFest e-mail: Not much yet, but to quote Lao Tzu, "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Really nice to see S.U. making this effort. Sounds like it's just the start of some great stuff to come!

Would a rewards program increase attendance at Syracuse University football games? (PS)

To be fair, S.U. does a lot of good things too. The free Villanova tickets this year were nice, they do player autograph signings after the spring game, one year they had Floyd Little signing autographs at a spring practice open to the public, etc. However, these are things done for every fan...

Would a rewards program increase attendance at Syracuse University football games? (PS)

Actually, that's another nice thing the NBA team does for us: we have an express line at the concession stands, and we get 5% off as well. We also have an arena entrance that's specifically for the STH only, so we don't have to wait in line with the hoi polloi. This stuff is for every...

Would a rewards program increase attendance at Syracuse University football games? (PS)

I think Axe missed the point. The kinds of rewards programs employed by most pro teams aren't designed to induce new season ticket purchases, their aim is to raise existing season ticketholder satisfaction, serve their most dedicated base, and ultimately maximize their STH retention. It's a lot...

There's a thread called "When are season tickets usually mailed out?" a few posts below yours. :p To answer your question though, last week of July/first week of August, depending on when you ordered/renewed. I'm kind of curious when we'll get the away game tickets that we ordered thru the...

When are season tickets usually mailed out?

Kind of odd that you can't e-mail the freebie tickets (only print). I assumed one of the main motivations for this promo was encouraging fans to invite friends that otherwise wouldn't attend a game. The inability to send the tickets to friends via e-mail makes that slightly more difficult. I...

    Syracuse Football Ticket Sales

First off, many thanks to Dan for doing this! I'd really like to have the personal ticket reps back. I love what Tyler said to the zoo !!!!!

That's standard procedure for a student section that's on the ball. We did it when I was a student at Syracuse. The idea is that you get in that player's head and (hopefully) he's thinking about it every time he shoots for the rest of the game. Not sure if it actually works, but it's fun, gives...

    2014 Season Tickets...

Anybody else's cost go down? My seats in 129 went from $250/seat to $225/seat. Not one look to a gift horse in the mouth, but that (pleasantly) surprised me. There's not going to be some disappointing announcement that somebody canceled and we now only have 5 home games, is there? :p

99% sure I sat by you. If so, you guys were definitely repping S.U. well. We joined in all your chants. S.U. had that section on lockdown (which is great because it was the Wake Forest tunnel). Who here has (or will have) season tix in 2014?

I'm right behind him and I enjoy it. IMO, what you lose in viewing angle you more than gain in excitement by being so close to the field, the coaches, the players, the hits, etc. I would go as close as possible to the field, but everybody has different preferences. For example, hard to argue...

I had a very good meal at Amelia's Ristorante a few years back. I'd highly recommend them, assuming the quality is the same. They seemed to do a very good business too.
