Some of the media were calling us out as the most upset-prone #1 seed prior to the Melo announcement. Obviously we've been supplanted by OSU, FSU and Vandy in many brackets throughout the past day. Every year the nation looks for that "gritty" team from who-knows-where that crashes the Sweet 16 and beyond. This year, everyone knows where SU is and how we got here. But, what better "Cinderella-esque" storyline, and testimony to an incredible season, than to play into late March and early April after such a controversy plagued season. With all the adversity and distractions this team and the University have had to deal with for the past several months, and with so many already leaving the Orange for dead, I hope the coaches and the team draw upon these experiences for inspiration. The storylines and headlines are sitting there, waiting, and this team still has all the talent, depth and leadership it needs to make a huge run. Maybe I'm partly trying to pump myself up after yesterday’s depressing development but there's truly no reason that KJ, Scoop, Waiters, Fair and company can't make the next 6 games their best 6 games of the season. And I think the media would make that the top story of this year's tournament.

I'm loving every minute of this. This only makes us better. Yes only better.

If we play like we played against NC State... Keep your hotel reservations in NOLA

that's just it, we only need about 1 of those games to get to the final 4.

Save it for FSU/OSU... I hoenstly am not concerned with either KSU, Wisconsin, or Vandy, even without Fab.

So many people now have us losing to Vandy. Will Vandy even get past Wisconsin? I'd love to play Wisconsin, imagine pressing them the entire game. Without Fab we are significantly more athletic at 4 positions.

Pressing is key, Rak and Keita get down the floor quicker than Fab. There will be less of a chance for teams to score an easy lay up or dunk. Pressing never seemed to work with Fab in the game.
