All seasons interest me. The current one is just one we get to see up close and experience. I love old documentary shows and original broadcasts showing long-ago seasons as they were reported at the time. I came across this one about the 1962 season on You-Tube:
SU pops up at the 1hr 07minute mark, (just before that you can see a healthy Joe Namath playing for Alabama). The 1962 was a down year for SU. Ernie Davis had left and Floyd Little wasn't here yet. Bill Schoonover is #44. We went 5-5 that year. But we had Jim Nance and John Mackey and in this game we belt Roger Staubach's Navy team in Archbold, 34-6. I was trying to place the narrator's vice. Could that be Harry Caray?
