2011 FBS Private School Football Rankings - Oct 23

The latest rankings can be found here.

A whopping ten private schools received votes in the various polls this week. This may be the most since I've been tracking these.

Stanford and USC are the only programs to be ranked in the Top-25 of any of the polls.

Syracuse's big win over WfVU propelled them into 5th place overall.

BCU lost again to hold on to the last spot. At this rate, the Eagles won't get a single FBS win this season. Brian Kelly doesn't get to vote, but some of his buddies apparently still sees the Irish as top-25 worthy as they received five votes in the coaches' poll.

A whopping ten private schools received votes in the various polls this week.

"Whoa Nelly!" or "Not so fast my friend!"

The Legends Poll is out now which has some impact on the standings. There is some movement in the lower portion of those getting votes. The biggest change is the addition of Tulsa which received a single vote. This increases the number of private schools which received votes to eleven... a new record.
