Syracuse opens the season at home against Albany on Feb. 19. The game is part of lacrosse tripleheader at the Carrier Dome that also features Air Force versus Rutgers at 11 a.m. and Hobart versus Siena at 5 p.m.

After the Great Danes, Syracuse closes out February with its annual home match against Army on Feb. 26.

The month of March begins with the first of two three-game road swings for the Orange. Syracuse visits defending NCAA champion Virginia (March 3), opens BIG EAST play at St. John’s (March 10) and travels to Johns Hopkins (March 17) in consecutive weeks before returning home for league games against Providence (March 21) and Villanova (March 25).

In April, the Orange breaks from conference play to face Duke (April 1) at the Big City Classic in MetLife Stadium for the second year in row. Syracuse also hosts Princeton on April 7 and visits Cornell on April 10 before returning to BIG EAST play against Rutgers on April 14.

Non-conference play wraps up for the Orange with its annual game against Hobart on April 17 in Geneva. A home date with Georgetown (April 21) and road game at Notre Dame (April 28) round out the schedule.

Following the regular-season, the top four teams in the BIG EAST standings will advance to the inaugural conference tournament, which will be held from May 3-5 at Villanova. The winner will be crowned league champion and receives the BIG EAST’s automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship.

Lot of tough roadies this year, UVA, Hopkins, ND... Also, Denver is off the schedule this year. Here's hoping some of the young guys step up...

Not a stellar home schedule this year. Hopefully, once we get in the ACC, we can balance the schedule a bit more.
