Looks like Dino’s going to put whoever gives him the best chance to win, whatever the situation, on the field.

The drops aren’t much to worry about, it’s new. A different rhythm for the WRs and QBs. Still good to see QBs working on it. Anticipating routes, throwing their guys open early. That’s a step Dungey can still make in year 3. Especially if no clear #1 develops this season.

I just don't see it coming together for Custis. Sharod Johnson is a more natural reliever IMO. Few things I love about Johnson, played in a strong league in highschool, has long arms for his height, and was constantly praised by coaches while redshirting.

Gabe Horan is a large man, it would awesome if he can move well enough to play tight end. I wonder if we see any two tight end sets this year with Hackett or Horan along with Pierce. Dino ran it at Bowling Green occasionally.

Always been strange to me. Been in the program since 2014 (missed 2016). His name always gets thrown around as a possible impact guy but I don't see it. If there was ever a year for it, it would be this one with no other obvious #1 wideout. The guy is big but it's never really played out on the field.

Re: Custis

If the guy is getting run in the two deep, there is reason to expect more than nothing with an outside shot at breaking out. Nothing more, nothing less.
