My understanding is that Hess decided to get out of the retail side of the gas business. They sold their stations to speedway, who was looking to establish itself in the East. I believe Hess is still doing exploration and production. As for the trucks, I believe they are only available online at this point. My father still buys them every Christmas for my sons.
