Lift For Life is the signature fundraising event for the Syracuse Chapter and all student-athlete led chapters are a part of the Uplifting Athletes nationwide network.
Our Lift For Life is scheduled for July 20th at 6:00 PM in Manley Field House. Please come out to show your support!
The challenges faced by the Rare Disease Community are bigger than any one individual, team or organization can tackle alone. Here at Syracuse we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes.

About Uplifting Athletes
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments.
Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.

Thank You!
Thank you for your support of the Syracuse Chapter and the Rare Disease Community. Every little bit helps. Please don’t forget to share this campaign and your support on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Just a reminder the Lift is this Friday. This is an opportunity to donate to a good cause for all or us and for those that will be in Syracuse to have the opportunity to also see the players lift.

Dear friends of the Syracuse Chapter,

We are proud to continue our work with Uplifting Athletes and support the Rare Disease Community by holding our annual Lift For Life on Friday, July 20 inside Manley Field House at 6:00 p.m..

Lift For Life is the signature fundraising event for the Syracuse Chapter of Uplifting Athletes. Syracuse Football is one of 22 chapters in Uplifting Athletes nationwide network of chapters led by college football student-athletes.

The team is working really hard and we are all very excited about our event, but it can’t be a success without you. Our team goal is to raise $10,000, but our team wants to smash our goal!

Lift for Life and Uplifting Athletes is a very important part of the Syracuse football experience. Our program is proud to be inspiring the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and giving back to help others

Please make a pledge to one of our nine fundraising teams based on the average number of bench press repetitions a particular team averages.

Find your favorite player on a team and make a pledge TODAY!

The proceeds from our 2018 Lift For Life support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

Thanks for your continued support.

I hope for kids with this problem, and others with similar issues, that Sam is able to have a great career at Syracuse and show them all what is possible when dealing with this kind of thing.

But the most impressive thing to me isn't how well Sam is doing on the football field. I am floored by his willingness to give back, take over as president of the Uplifting Athletes organization and go public with his story.

If his football abilities are half as good as his character, he is going to be all All American. His brother should be damn proud!
