I’m sure the Boeheim family is very pleased. Me, not so much.

Buddy is only the second SU player ever to lead their conference in scoring (DNic in 2007 was the other).
Didn’t Eli do it as well?

I can’t believe we don’t have anyone on the all defensive team! What says everything about this team is that no one except Buddy received any votes, even honorable mention.

?? You are pleased that one of our kids made first team all acc? That worked his @ss off to get as good as he got?
I like Buddy. He’s a good player. Nothing but respect. But the minutes and green light was a provided opportunity. It is what it is.

But you said you weren't pleased that he was `1st team all acc. The kid bleeds orange more than anyone. None of that other stuff matters in this context. To not be pleased with his first team selection says something that is not very good.

Yes I’m pleased and happy for that awesome young man but there were games that in the second half he would have lead legs, or appeared to, and was a step late on defense. As much as he helped on offense he was sometimes ineffective on defense so we’re trading baskets. That’s where the minutes bother me. Would I retract his achievement getting on first team. No.

They didn't show it, but JB won Father of the Year in the ACC.
nah coach K actually won that for treating Boeheim like his son this year

Boeheim came in 2nd

Hard to hate on this achievement for Buddy- & it’s neither the time nor the place.
Congrats to him for all his hard work paying off. He’s made himself into a legit player, especially on offense. Hopefully he’ll get a shot at the league, but more than likely he’ll earn some bucks playing pro somewhere. Thanks for the memories, “Buddy Buckets”.
