Good podcast with Donte. He’s very well spoken. His upbringing overseas was interesting. When he was here, he had to be one of the friendliest, most outgoing players we’ve ever had. I attended a women’s game while he was a player which he went to all by himself. He led cheers and even played the drums (he was surprisingly good at it) for the SU band at that game.

His treatment by some of our so called fans was atrocious when he declared for the draft and when he’d loyally return for visits. Totally uncalled for and viciously personal which had to be so hurtful. Happy to see that he has such fond memories and lacks any bitterness from fan reaction and stays connected to JB and the program.
