The interesting thing here is hopefully the team is shattered and lots of guys hit the portal and we grab one or two of them lol.

you look at the rest of Tech's schedule, it is brutal, with or without him they will probably lose them all and go 5-7, blowing the K State game probably ended their bowl hopes and gives them a good reason to dump him now I guess.

honestly though you put most another QB at Virg and they are probably under .500 this year too. That kid has saved them every game this year.

Who would VT get? I'd go after Billy Napier at Louisiana. He has ACC assistant coach experience and time under Nick Saban.

They didn't have a very strong recruiting class even before he was fired. All Mountain/West Coast kids for the most part although WSU does recruit Florida like everyone else.

The do have an offensive lineman from Syracuse, UT - so maybe that's a sign?
