The Yankees lineup is deep.
Maybe a LF but not an infielder.
You guys need pitching if you are going to spend big bucks.

Wow. The Rockies overinflate the market for 3rd basemen with that ridiculous contract and then move him. Anthony Rendon should sent someone in Denver flowers.

They better sign him, if they went this far down the road and dont get him, that is a disaster. This could be the best offseason in Mets history.
Went to Dodgers according to most reports today.. Not really understanding why people were so worked up on getting him for that crazy money he wanted..

Their were reports they closed the deal.
Apparently the Mets gave a Bauer a deadline to accept which he used to get the deal he wanted from LA.
This isn’t going to be a long term deal.
It’s going to be a high AAV for short years.
Bauer got a 3 year deal where he can opt out after year 1 and after year 2 if he wants. Deal is going to be around 40 million per year.
Year 2 is 45 million. Year 3 is 27 million.
So 3 years 102 million
Dodgers would be smart to go to a 6 man rotation and their arms will stay fresh.
Kershaw IMO is the 5th best SP which is sick.
