First of all, thank you for doing this breakdown! This isn't meant as criticism, just some adjustments:

I'd add Magnuson to the OL. I'd also shift Bassette from DE to DT.

Also don't know how realistic it is to expect Wax back -- but hope he is.

I don't know how big of a need DT will be in the transfer portal, provided Lockett comes back healthy. But the others are spot on.

Again -- no criticism intended, this is a big data set to play with. Just a few recommendations.

Do you think there is a world that Sean Tucker stays for one more year? I think no reason for him to stay, but wild to think he has 2 MORE years of eligibility left.

Appreciate the suggestions, I'll update accordingly.

I don't think he can? Only 2 years out of HS right?

THIS. He will return for his Jr year, then bolt to the NFL.

To the OP - I don't think we need LB's.
one RB might be nice, but not mandatory.

DL depth - an impact player would be awesome.
OL depth - can never have too many elephants and hippoes.
WR - need an impact dude.

I thought that 2 years out of HS was the requirement, no?

I thought it was 3, unless they changed it.

Vick is always my example. Redshirted (seems crazy to think that now), then played 2 years and gone. Otherwise, he would have clearly left after 1999.

Gotcha -- I think I wasn't counting the redshirt year. I know kids can go pro after sophomore season, so I just didn't account for that RS being the third year. My bad -- thanks guys.

Just a question, is the MLB group set, and do people feel good about that?

Lowery seems to be making a huge impact, wondering if he could slide over.

I was wondering if Marlowe slides into the MLB role. He will be the leader of that group. Lowery and Sparrow have been awesome.

IF Wax returns [per my point above], that's what I would expect to happen.

Thompson, Was, Lowrey -- loaded unit.

If Wax doesn't return, then I think Thompson shifts inside, McDonald and Lowery outside.

There’s not much room to make roster adjustments right now . The staff has a better handle on who on the team might be playing somewhere else next year.

One or two qbs may be leaving, a couple of WRs and Dbs.

I think getting a quality starting OT is the single biggest portal opportunity. Factory grad that’s been recruited over but can start here or non P5 all league kid that is looking to raise his NFL stock.

I wouldn’t bring in another portal WR unless the numbers thin out. Same with dbs.

Tackle, Center and TE. That would be my portal focus.

If there's an upgrade elsewhere, take it and have the hard conversation.

I think there will be room for a portal WR. Some of those guys are going to move on, I suspect.

Tight End, for sure. That would strengthen TWO positional units, by enabling Gadsen to bolster the WR unit. Gadsen, Johnson, Pena, Alford, Jackson -- quality nucleus.
