8. Syracuse 64, Wisconsin 63 (March 22): Wisconsin played a near flawless offensive game against Syracuse's vaunted zone, sinking 14 of 27 3-pointers. Still it wasn't enough, however, because Syracuse shot 55 percent from the field against the Badgers and survived a last-second 3-point attempt from Jordan Taylor. "I think (it is) the best game anybody has ever played against us and didn't beat us,'' Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said afterward.

whats even crazier is they were 14-21 at one point, they missed their last 6. i remember that specifically cuz i remember looking at the scoreboard in boston, seeing 14-21, and yelling out to nobody in particular "THEYRE F.UCKING 14-21 FROM 3 U GOTTA BE F.UCKING KIDDING ME!"

And I felt that if SU lost to a teamthat shot 66% from the 3 point line, nobody should complain. That was unreal. It's not like all 14 shots they made were un-contested with their toes just outside the line. At least half were 25' with hands in their face!
