In light of charges against Bernie the following is noteworthy that we may want to be mindful of (for ourselves and our children)

1. Once a story is on the web...it is nearly impossible for it to go away...
---look at Duke lax rape case
---numerous stories of a person's death that surprises the person who is alive and reads about it (story still there)
2. Facebook is a wonderful social media tool
--so much so that colleges, grad schools, corporations, police departments and crooks utilize it for information
--applying for a job now includes an HR person looking at your Facebook page...and those friends that are included...what you say, how you say it, what you look like are primary basis for interviews and potential not be asked to come into an interview---note that what friends are like is also indication...Facebook should be vanilla...and do not believe that your Facebook page is secure--it is not
--indicating upcoming trip; photos from trip you are on invite your home to become a crime scene
3. U-Tube from England showed a taped rape that remained on site for nearly 6 weeks before it was removed...by the way, do you have a contact # to call to have something removed...find it and try to use it...good luck

The purpose of this is just to tell all to be careful and to be mindfull of what you do and say...and what others do and say about you...Bernie even in innocence will now be on the web as a child molester...of course other stories will be there to say hopefully it wasnt so...maybe a story of the final outcome...but the charges will be there...it is very easy to lose your reputation...so guard it well.

Agree, my college professor always told any who were politically or socially active on Facebook to de-activate it when looking for a job or going on interviews. Very good advice.
