A note from SWC’s brother

We, the admins and mods, sent a “Thinking of You” card to Steve while he was at the Francis House with a note about Steve the person, the poster and the SU fan.

His brother Dave, who lives in Hawaii, sent a thank you card that was received today. I want to share that card here because I look at it as being to everyone on this forum.

That is awesome.

It should be noted that the card was Bees’ idea and he did it on his own.

He asked if it was okay to put the names of all the admins and mods on it but all the credit here should go to Bees.

SWC is and was a legend that will be sorely missed. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but can only hope to 1 day be half as positive and informative as he. God speed friend, you are missed by all that had the pleasure of your acquaintance in any regard.

I've been so busy over the last few months I didn't even realize he had passed. He's been around as long and probably longer than I have... since the mid-90s when I was living in Colorado. I will miss his in-season write ups. They were legendary and he was so committed to them. A true fan. RIP SWC75!

Honestly I'm not sure if we can retire board numbers but SWC75 and Cali are first ballot if so. I absolutely lit up every time I saw either start a thread for entirely different, but equally enjoyable reasons. The amount of knowledge I gained from SWC is absurd. Memory like a steel trap is an understatement
