Check out the below if you want to get upset. A Pitt writer followed up on this poll by ranking his favorite ACC cities. I bet you can guess who came in last.

Pittsburgh is just a terrible terrible terrible city. I've absolutely hated each time I've had to go to it, just an ugly city that is dirty and not pleasant at all.
Anyone listing Pittsburgh 4th in this list should be institutionalized, just insane.

Yeah, any "ranking" that has UNC rated anything higher than last in Compliance is not worth the pixels wasted in the effort.

Oh, and AthleticDirectorU - Notre Dame is not a member of the ACC.

How can the No. 1 party school in America also be home to the last ranked quality of life school in the ACC?

Oh! I get it now. They're not a member for football, too, so they're not a "member." OK.

Article is another NE football hit job by the Carolina mafia media.

And this guy:

Clearly the poll has a NC bias and this guy has a Pitt bias. Anything further we need to learn here? Who's going to tweet a list where medium sized cities in NYS have the best quality of life?

Yes, I agree that the list of cities that homer likes is inconsequential. I posted the original thread as I am more interested in how our AD is seen nationally by other AD's. A bit shocked to learn we are behind Wake, NCST, GT, etc.

What's the State of our Olympic Sports? I know we finished very low in last year's Director's Cup, but didn't the good doctor leave our non-revenue sports in very good shape?

If that was put out by the ACC I would sue the conference. What a crock!

To each their own, but I think Pittsburgh is an incredible city. It's authentic, it has vibrant neighborhoods, it's picturesque, has major universities, Fortune 500 companies, three pro sports, culture. But not overwhelmingly crowded like larger places. Yes the yinzer accent is very annoying but nowhere is perfect.

It's basically Syracuse x3. Nice culture, lotta hicks.

That one of their townies looks down his nose at Syracuse (worse than Blacksburg? South Bend? GMAFB) is silly. Probably because, much like CNYers, Western Pennsylvanians are a self-loathing people.

Yeah it is. Just not in football and hockey

All in or all out. That's the way I look at it.

Cool story. Not everyone wants to live in an area where they sit in traffic for 12 hours a week.

Also the Northeast, Mountain West, or West Coast would have to be facing Armageddon before I lived in the Carolina's, Virginia, or Georgia.
Something has gone very seriously wrong in my life if I ended up in any city on this list (other than Syracuse and MAYBE Charlottesville). Blacksburg? Seriously?
