ACC Power Rankings

I’d go FSU 1, they dont seem to have a weak area and have played a legit opening schedule.
‘NCSt 2, strong on both sides but soft opening schedule.
‘Clemson 3 - three soft as charmin games to start, taken to OT in first real game.

pitt 4 - good all around
su 5 - solid openning schedule, defense and specials have been excellent. Weakest part of the team has been running offense
wake 6- weak defense

if you had a team with UNC’s offense and VT‘s defense you would have a national champion. If you had a team with the opposite, they’d be 0-12 and the worst in the sport.

Meanwhile if you had a team with Boston College's offense and UNC's defense, you'd have UConn.

We only have the top 5 and the bottom one left to play... and some independent program somewhere in the middle of the schedule.
This is why the run game has to be reinvented. They could lose out except for BC and easily finish 6-6. Even if it’s just an experiment and not a complete success, throwing in some counters and stretch runs might be just enough to catch NC ST by surprise. Anything to claw out a 7th win is worth it.

Can I take a victory lap on Hafley yet? Year 3 is the year where you show you were a good hire and the program is in a good spot and maybe B1G schools are sniffing around?

yikes

I'm no BC fan and I honestly couldn't care less about Hafley, but we all know if it was a coach you like, you'd be talking about Covid in year 1, his quarterback getting hurt last year and his best offensive lineman being out this year.

But consistency and being objective in evaluating coaches has never been your thing and it's so easy to point out. I enjoy your other contributions to the board though.
