If you are looking for something to do today, Davidson/New Mexico State kick off the Myrtle Beach Invitational at noon Eastern today on ESPNU and St Bonaventure/Boise State kick off the Charleston Classic at 2 pm Eastern on ESPN 2.

Our office is open but there is only 5 people here. To comply with the mask mandate you can be in an office and work w/o one. So I took over a conference room that has 2 70" monitors. Stream away!

I tend to view these early season hoops tournaments the same way I do the "minor" football bowl games that some fans like to complain about. They provide entertaining match-ups between teams/conferences that we would not normally get to see, the teams gain valuable exposure and experience, and many hoops tournaments are hosted in fun destinations (Bahamas, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Florida, etc.).

I started watching a little Marquette/WVU with WV up 12, and Quette came back in 3 minutes. 2nd big comeback for them in 2 days. Seems like a much better fit for Shaka Smart.

I had not ordered the college basketball package in Canada for at least 3 years, to supplement the games that we get via CBS or other games simulcast by our sports networks.

I decided to order it a few days ago.

To be honest, after watching a few games, the only positive I can say is it may have only cost me $99. I am having a hard time getting into it.

It's great though that some of you are still hardcore and I do not want to dissuade you. But I am struggling with getting heavily invested ... outside of Syracuse games which I will get an extra dozen or so... which I assume I will watch.
