Am I the only one happy?

I love this team. You can tell they all get along and are having fun.

20-0 and just beat Pitt finally. Fired up!

Nope--I'm very happy to get this monkey off of our back.

I have a feeling this team is going to take care of all family business, Godfather style. Two down [Marquette / Pitt]. Louisville / Uconn, you'll be playing Bartzini / Carlo.

I'm ecstatic.

Pitt is a talented team, despite its record, whose style has given us trouble since Ben Howland. As great as the 2010 team was, it completely folded after taking the early 10 point lead. The Panther is off our back, and I think the team will knock the Cardinal off its back soon enough.

What a great and historic win for Syracuse.

I'm right there with the OP. Glad to see some fans have perspective tonight!

God that game reminded me that as much as I remembered hating Pitt, I hate them waaayyy worse than anyone could imagine. How about the comic book villain Dixon calling timeouts to kill any celebration of the milestone win for JB. Kansas fans must absolutely love that moron.

Just had this exact type of talk with my dad on the phone. He was unimpressed; I expected nothing less out of a game with Pitt. Survive and move on with a team like that

Exactly. While I would have loved to have cruised to a 40 point win, that was never going to happen. Pitt has top 25 talent if they could ever put it together, and no way they bend over for us.

SU 20-0 : JB 876 wins tying Adolph Rupp: Beating Pitt for the first time since 3/11/06: Orangemen ranked #1 in the nation and lucky enough to have been a fan long enough not to be spoiled and enjoying every minute of this season. One game at a time.

Great post, Cherie!

Definitely feels GREAT to beat that team, next...must win...Louisville. I am not looking past any teams, we can lose at any time, but I don't want to lose to Pitt or Louisville this season. One down.
