Another Fine accuser recants...

I don't know what did or did not happen between Fine and Tomaselli. I do know that you have to question his sanity at this point. Child molestation charges, lying, doctored emails, the facebook posts. It just seems like he might not be all there.

Spelling the guys name wrong? Really Zach? Talk about not paying attention to detail. Also didnt he realize that there is something called "sent items" in a persons email account where the person who sends an email can actually just print off the email and call BS? Didnt he think that Clark would see this and call a TO?

This kid has more issues than I thought. Wait until Whitlock gets his meat hooks on this one. Hoo boy!
 
Bernie Fine accuser Zach Tomaselli said minutes ago that he will ask Syracuse Police to end its child molestation investigation of the fired Syracuse University basketball coach.
"I'm just guna ask the police to drop the investigation on Fine. I'm sick of this. I have a couple weeks left to live. I want to be left alone," wrote Tomaselli in a text to The Post-Standard.
Tomaselli, 23, is expected to be sentenced in February to prison for sexually abusing a teenaged boy in Maine.

Anyone who viewed this kid's claims as being remotely credible even from the beginning ought to have their head examined.

I'll bet this has already happened and why he is now recanting. The Feds probably already knew he was lying and rather than wait until the trial, he is pre-emptively trying to put out the fire. Read what he's saying, it's classic "it's not my fault" nonsense: First admit, then blame someone else for your transgression, then try to put the focus somewhere else.
 
This is going to end in suicide. I had predicted as much months ago, regrettably, but this kid is not the type to be able to handle prison. His actions are the most blatant cries for help I've ever seen, and his attitude of blaming anyone but himself while seeking pity is paving the way for one last "pity me" action. Shame, really.
 
Just to be clear, CTO: Tomaselli has not recanted his story. He still claims that BF molested him.

He simply admits that he told lies and doctored evidence to support his story. From his point of view, he was trying to frame a guilty man.

My question is will Syracuse University and Coach Fine receive apologies from the national media and all the haters in the world of CBB when hte last accuser recants or is proven a liar and Bernie is exoneated? After tarnishing lives and blemishing reputations, will there be any consequences? NO! OF COURESE NOT!! A rush to judgement based on zero evidence is now the norm in our society, and there are no consequences for being wrong, only for being on the wrong side of the accusation. The only people who have consisetantly stood by Syracuse and its coaching staff during this tragedy are the people on this board, the hard core fans who live and breath Cuse. We are the only ones who can hold our heads high when the lies topple down like a house of cards.
 
The part that makes me think he definitely is lying now is the new (to me) information that he originally said he got molested at a UConn game - only to be told we didn't play at UConn that year, so he changes it to Pitt.

It's like the old Chevy Chase gag paraphrased:

Person: Whats your social security number?

Person: That's not enough numbers!
Chase: Add in a 9

A few things:
1) the vast majority of posters on this board assumed that Bernie was guilty
2) in response to #1, during the worst of the publicity in mid Dec, I posted that there was still not enough strong credible evidence to convince me that he is guilty
3) despite #2, I am far from convinced that he is innocent (but he might be). I think it is likely that the investigations will turn up little or nothing and no charges will be pressed due to SOLs, and the scandal will fade away with many believing he is guilty. And it is a scandal one way or another: either the pedaphilia or the trashing of Bernie. But he will never be 'declared' innocent unless the first two accusers also recant, which I think is unlikely.

well he said right in the article "I have a couple of weeks left to live", sure he could just be talking about going to prison

What ever happened that big interview the Daily Orange did with ZT? I don't ever recall them releasing it or explaining why they didn't. I remember ZT facebooking that it was like a 4 hour interview or something like that.
