Today this team continued to answer questions which many people had as to it's composition, talent, and chemistry. There can be little if any doubt left as to the fact that this is one of the best teams in the Nation this year and at this juncture, based on who they have played and the manner in which they've been tested, they are likely the best. Arizona is formidable but Syracuse has certainly proven that they can play well and at times dominate other top ranked teams.

As we close out the early portion of the schedule, this team has performed well beyond even my wildest hopes of what they would be capable of. They have given us much to be proud of and they are shaping up to be a very special group.

plenty in the chat room when we were down early.

Well, they very clearly demonstrated that those who doubt, know not of what this team is about.

We're a very good team composed of some great, and some average parts. When the great parts play great, we are great to very good. When they don't, we are still the sum of them. We don't have great parts in the middle (that came out wrong or right, IDK).

We beat a team by 18 that we were at one point down to by 18. Why were we ever down 18?

We won't always be so motivated at home. We won't always MSU the opponent. Always room to improve, and get more balanced. Come March, we'll be in a pool with 6-8 teams whom can win it all. Let's hope we are peaking at that time, and not now.

Some really good stuff from BMK tonight. DC2, What?

In terms of being a top 16 team never was.
In terms of being top 7 I was alittle shaky potatoes.

I still think this team has alot of kinks to work out but they have alot of leadership and 6th men to overcome it that most teams with kinks don't.

plenty in the chat room when we were down early.

I have to admit I was one of the people who were thinking we were going to lose when we were facing the huge deficit. To my credit, I realized I was about to type something stupid from a knee jerk reaction and I decided to leave the chat room.

I did watch every second of the game and the game did seem to turn around just about the second I left the chat room. And for the record, I thought we were going to lose but I was chalking it up to a bad matchup; I was not close to throwing in the towel on the team for the season.

I like watching this team but I'm still concerned with our centers' lack of development/ production. We need some sort of post presence on offense.

Considering we got to final 4 last year with same 3 centers I'm not too concerned about lack of post presence. Fab wasn't much of a post presence in 2012 and we did fine that year too.

When the season started it was the back court that was in question and the front court that was our strength. I would have to say that the back court has been our strength. The forward slot is solid but the center position stills need works.

We're pretty good, especially as a team. Wish we had a low post scorer, it's my one concern.

But we've got a great lead trio and a guy in Grant that can be an X factor. If #25 can give us 8 & 5 every night, it would be a huge boost.

When I saw the thread title I assumed it was another Festivus thread.

As for the chat room, i forgot about it. I imagine it might be entertaining to lurk in.

I'll say it -- I LOVE THIS TEAM!

I think we are very good. Probably better than last years final four team.
Our week spot the young back court is good enough to carry the team and our forwards are only getting better.
The three headed center has gotten a little better as Rak is playing angrier this year.
I still have us losing our first conference road game although i'm wavering on that pick now as Ennis and Cooney have played Way better than expected.
The team showed in this game that they will not give up when on themselves when it's not going so well for them. I can only imagine how they'll respond to a second half deficit of the same caliber. They'll have this game to look back on and know they can get there.
They wiped out an eighteen point lead in a mater of minutes.
Wow!! Just Wow!

I still cant believe people actually go into the chat room. Id rather stick a hot poker in my eye. So many negative nancys. I can only imagine what it was like down 25-7.
Don't worry, we turned some smiles right side up yesterday. Just lucky timing, since I missed most of the blowup. But it was fun!

I am. The chatroom can be a lot of fun. However, too many start with the we suck, we are going to lose crap. The game wasn't 10 minutes old!!!!

I never said we suck. When we were down 16 or so, I said it felt like blowout... It did. I left the chat room partially to change mojo and partially to censor myself. Good move.

My guess is that your fine efforts will not make a bit of difference, but part of the fun is seeing all the silly things people say.
