$$$$$$
Flights on Saturday compared to Monday for 100 personnel approx. $5,000
40 - 50 rooms for $200 per day for 2 days approx. $20,000
100 personnel for $100 meals each day for 2 days approx. $20,000
busing and tickets to events and locations for 2 days approx. $10,000

$55,000 for athletic department can be important if ticket purchases are a concern.

But...but...they're making B1G money. Just ask MD and Rutgers. They can afford to burn money. ;)

To get out of town ahead of the big snowstorm that's slamming the upper midwest?

I'm still trying to figure out how we managed to work-in the 15 practices that are often cited as one of the primary incentives to bowl eligibility.

the only schools that really get the 15 practices are those that play late in the cycle.. several coaches commented on getting 10-12 because they find out so late they are actually going. but dont they also get extended time once the finals are over and not the 20 hr a week limit?

I'm in Dallas until Tuesday and it is freezing here. 33 degrees right now. Hopes it warms up for all who are coming. I think it does on Wednesday. Now for anyone coming to AZ for the women's basketball game this weekend, you can expect daytime temps 68-70!!

1) It's freezing up here.

2) Connections of the MN staff to use the University of Houston's facilities for practice.
