Are we bad or is LeMoyne decent?

Really difficult to tell if we’re a bad team that struggles on the defensive side of the ball or if LeMoyne is actually a decent team. They did seem to have some decent players out there.

So early in the season I really can’t tell. Very concerned about our defense. Yikes.

Depends on if you think 16 seed play-ins in the tourney are decent. Thats what Lemoyne would be

I'm choosing to be an optimist and believe we weren't ready for Lemoyne to actually try and played crappy.

I thought our defense was decent most of the time, but our shooting was, again, terrible. At one point late in the first we were shooting 30% from the floor.

Problem is these warmup teams have been giving us hell the past few years, so now every Tom, Dick, and Harry comes in to the Dome with too much hope and no fear.

Le Moyne season ticket holder here (and SU fan). The result shows more struggles for SU than anything else. Le Moyne is projected 4th out of 9 in the NEC which is the poorest ranked conference in D1. Four players I’d project as starters were injured before the game or exited the game for good with an injury. The guys on the floor in the 2nd half were mostly true freshman and top bench players.

I don't know sounds like you spun it ok...... apparently there were a couple of minutes that we played alright!!! So there's that!

Exactly. We scored 116 points in our exhibition game. We will compete for our league title. Cuse should’ve won by 20 nonetheless. Could be a wake up. Let’s hope so.
