(Besides the obvious 2003) I have to say in the last decade with all that has happened it's a tie between...

Owning Crean
Beating WVU repetitively and in the bowl

...and

Beating Uconn.

Those make me the happiest.

Having an incredible HOF coach leading the charge and remaining loyal to this community that is nearly unprecedented by anyone in his craft. He bleeds Syracuse and CNY. That makes me happy.

I think I get the biggest kick at seeing the team progress and more easily imagine how far they can go. Wes' team was tremendous in this respect as they built all year. 2003 was fantastic- though they didn't start to build til halfway through. Last year's was fun too despite some bumps. Tougher to see with this team, as league play has yet to start, but I like the strides they are making.

The other thing I like is seeing camaraderie and teamship- this years team is very nice in that respect (only seen two games live but it was fun watching them warm up and have a good time together). Didn't love Dante Green's team as they were a me-first bunch.

Watching Kentucky lose makes me almost as happy as watching Syracuse win.

To crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and to hear the lamentation of their women
To taste how wonderful their tears are

Winning multiple NCs in basketball (other sports would be good as well)
But since no one is going that route:
seeing Georgetown lose, often, and
seeing slowly become the mid major they were destined to be, and having their fans embrace their insignificance

Being able, over the last 44 years, to see the program grow from the dirt floor and raised hardwood floor of Manley ( and $2.00 General Admission tickets ) ...
To a National power, playing before 35,000 in the Dome. Everybody knows Syracuse, because of the B'ball program.

Fixed it for you

Errrr...getting to meet bjorn face to face. JarHeadJim getting his friend request accpeted.
Getting more and more titles. Watching loseeeeee!! Meeting my girl Anna.

Something along those lines.

Other than the obvious proud moments like 2003 and seeing the team play well and win consistently, I would have to say proving some of the "so called" experts wrong. Remember back in the 1996 Final Four I don't think too many "experts" picked us to beat Mississippi State. Then again in 2003 the only ESPN analyst that picked us was Linda Cohn (spelling?). On the weekend I watched my DVD recording of the 2003 Final Four games and press conferences and JB purposely touted Linda.

Dammit, I didnt know this picture existed! I have made references to his answer about winning the lottery or whatever 2 or 3 times in the last week or so. I'm not quite sure how it relates to being a Syracuse fan, but I gave you a like for finding that picture for me! I just might watch Office Space tonight to hear that one classic answer!

Too many answers and I still gotta walk to the LQ in the bitter cold if I am to safely keep my expectations in the above post.

So the FIRST THOUGHT that came to my mind? Fab Melo's 360 dunk. I'm not sure why that was the first thing to pop into my mind, but I have some guesses: 1)who was the last orange to do that previously?(i hope this isnt another that will require SWC's powers) 2)Some folks on this board werent on board with a)Fab throwing it down in the closing seconds, and b)Fab in general at that point in time.

Right now the one person on the team that brings the most joy to my heart without question is BMK. Man, am I ever going to miss what he brings to this team!! I may add more after my perilous trek.
